Mr. Ali Rabiei
Mr. Rabiei comes to Casimir from North High, where he taught the following subjects: Geometry, High School Math, Geometry Honors, World History, Government, Economics, and Advanced Placement Government/Economics. He was also the sponsor of the Speech and Debate Team, Future Business Leaders of America Club, and the North High Chapter of the National Honor Society. Before that, Mr. Rabiei worked at Chester W. Nimitz Middle School in the Los Angeles Unified School District, where he taught 7th and 8th grade Social Studies, and served as Co-Chair of the Social Studies Department. Mr. Rabiei started his teaching career as a technology teacher at South Bay Junior Academy, a private school in Torrance. He completed his student teaching at Redondo Union High School, and held his first credentialed teaching position, as a World History and Economics teacher, at Mira Costa High School in the Manhattan Beach Unified School District. During the summers, Mr. Rabiei has taught either Geometry or World History at Beverly Hills High School, Palos Verdes High School, and Peninsula High School.
Mr. Rabiei earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from UC Irvine, majoring in Political Science and Sociology, in 2000. Later, he earned his teaching credential in History-Social Science and Introductory Mathematics from CSU Dominguez Hills, where he also earned his Master of Arts in Sociology. He earned his Administrative Services Credential from CSU Long Beach.
Mr. Rabiei is a long-time resident of Torrance, having attended Fern Avenue and Victory elementary schools and Bert M. Lynn Middle School. He graduated from West High in 1996.
